Green building is good for the environment. It is good for our health. It is essential for the future.
How LEED certification can help your business.
1. It sets you above in a competitive landscape.
Green buildings are attracting attention from a growing number of buyers and tenants who prefer lower operating costs and healthier indoor environments. When developers chose green for newconstruction, occupancy increases 6.4 percent and rent 6.1 percent for new construction. For existing buildings undergoing green updates, occupancy increases 2.5 percent and rent increases 1 percent. See the cost benefits of green building, according to building owners, at McGraw Hill Construction(2010). Green Outlook 2011: Green Trends Driving Growth.
Occupants also tend to appreciate the “bragging rights” that accompany a LEED badge of honor.

Batu Caves and Resorts World Genting Malaysia: Of gods & gambling

Batu Caves and Resorts World Genting Malaysia: Of gods & gambling

Arrived 11am at Batu Caves terminal and explored the place. Batu Caves side entrance is just 20meters away from the KTM station. Jovi went up to the cave with 287 steps and saw 3 different caves discovered by the Portugese with different icons and indeed very interesting, since again, I was left at a restaurant sipping my frozen buko juice with coconut meat.

How Your Small Business Can Flourish in the Philippines - PinoyBroker.com

How Your Small Business Can Flourish in the Philippines - PinoyBroker.com

How Your Small Business Can Flourish in the Philippines
According to a report launched by the regional development arm of the United Nations, the PH economy is expected to expand by 6.2 percent in 2013 thanks to strong private consumption. This means that there is a lot for local entrepreneurs to look forward to. However, rather than just sit back and watch your revenue rise, you should ride the wave and make the most of the market uptrend. Here are effective ways that you can do just that:
Develop Yourself Continuously
Since you are the master of your company, if you want it to grow, you have to enhance your skills. You have to improve your personal capabilities of running your business. You have to continue acquiring knowledge that will help you become a better businessperson. Remember to always believe in yourself and work hard for the success of your venture.
Have Firm Foundation
This means that the core values, principles, vision, and mission of your organisation should be strong enough to hold it up and help it grow. In running an SME, you need to have a deep purpose that will lead you to the heart of your target market. It is about finding something that will make people’s lives better.
Enhance Your Assets
You have to invest if you want to succeed. You won’t be able to gain something out of nothing. To achieve growth, you have to put more money on the table, whether it be from your own pocket or from financial institutions like credit unions and banks. When you’re uncomfortable about applying for loans, you can always consider taking partners or investors.
Be Part of the Team
As your company grows, it is inevitable that you hire more employees. It is important that you take care of these people because loyalty really counts in the world of business. Don’t take on everything yourself when you are able to delegate tasks to others. You have to understand that there’s only so much you can do.
Ensure Client Satisfaction
Without customers, your enterprise is dead. Thus, you must stay up-to-date with the needs of your target audience. Learn to listen to their suggestions, complaints, and feedbacks. This will help you determine which areas you need to improve in. Give them the service that you would want to receive when it’s your turn to be a client.
Adapt to New Trends
The world is changing at a fast pace and technology gets updated on a relatively regular basis. The same goes for ways to market your venture. One thing you need to learn about promoting your brand is to be visible online. Treat social networks such as Facebook and Twitter as your friends and spreading information about your products should be a breeze.
It’s not always easy being an entrepreneur in the Philippines but that does not mean that it is an impossible feat. You just have to learn how to do things the right way and you can start by keeping to heart the tips that were just discussed.
